SD-X1 is the high compression/low spin ball in the Seed line up. That means faster ball speeds, less driver spin and more distance (particularly off the longer clubs). The original SD-X1 design was focused on speed and pushed the limits to the max. The ball was so fast, that it exceeded the R&A limits for initial velocity while staying in the 5% tolerance allowed.
